Mr. John Kapi Natto – President PNGFA
On behalf of the PNGFA Executive Committee Members and PNGFA Secretariat, I extend a heartfelt Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all our football family – the players, coaches, match officials, management teams, volunteers, and passionate supporters across Papua New Guinea.
This year has been as tough as a hard-fought 90 minutes on the pitch, but your dedication and love for the beautiful game have kept us moving forward. I especially want to applaud the unsung heroes – the volunteers, competition staff, and officials who operate behind the scenes. Much like a solid defensive line, they ensure everything runs smoothly, both on and off the field, even when the spotlight isn’t on them.
As we approach the festive season, while many of us will enjoy a well-deserved break with family and friends, let’s not forget those who will continue working tirelessly. These are the people maintaining our pitches and facilities through Papua New Guinea’s relentless weather, making sure we return to fields that are ready for play when the whistle blows again.
Football is more than a game; it’s a shared passion. So, as you celebrate, take a moment to show appreciation for everyone who makes the competition possible – from our match officials and volunteers to the Competition Department and PNGFA staff. Without them, we’d have no game to enjoy. Remember, in football, just like in life, every team member plays a crucial role.
I also wish to thank our Member Associations, partners, franchise owners, and everyone connected to PNGFA for their unwavering support and contributions. You have all been part of our team’s success this year.
As we head into 2025, let’s continue to move the game forward, playing with the same passion, teamwork, and spirit that unite us all in football.
Yours in football,
John KAPI NATTO
President
