PNGFA Technical Team Complete Activity for 2024 on High Note

The PNGFA Technical Dept ended its 2024 Activities  in coloboration with Madang Soccer Association to Host the under 15 School Soccer Festival in Madang Town Papua New Guinea.

Former PNG Kapuls Representatives and now Development Officers, Legendary David Muta and Godfrey Baniau were present to witness and also identify and scout potential players who would be included on the PNGFA Under 15 train on Ssquad to participate in the UNESCO under 15 Tournament Next Year in April 2025.

The Festival was supposed to eventuate on Saturday , however due to the the Heavy Rainfall, The Event was deferred to Sunday.

Despite the Heavy Downpour, Teachers and Kids turned up at Laiwaden Oval to prticipate closed sessions conducted by the two Legends.

The following Schools were part of the Festivals over the Weekend,

1. KUSBAU Primary School
2. SAGALAU Primary School
3. MCA Primary School
4. MALMAL Primary School
5. LUTHERAN DAY Primary School
6. JOMBA Primary School

Most of the Students grew up watching or seeing both Officers ( Former Representatives)  Playing for PNG Kapuls and their Respective Clubs through Televisions and Reading News Papers , Magazines, Facebook or YouTube Highlights but didn’t have the opportunity to meet them first hand. The occassion was overwhelming as the Kids mingled around and asked questions and also participated in every  sessions through out the Festival.

Both Officers were very impressed on how the event went ahead in teerms of preparations and logistics and would like to thank the President of Madang Association Sigfried Beschel, his Executives and the Teachers for their time to successfully host the  Festival.
