Beach Soccer is Also a division recently established under the Technical Dept. Beach soccer, also known as beach football, sand football or beasal, is a variant of association football played on a beach or some form of sand.

Just Like Goal Keeping, OFC in Close Partnership with PNGFA has Conducted Trainings and Workshops in recent Years for all Member Association in Oceania. PNG’s Very own Officer Mr. Tonga Esira has been attending these workshops and Trainings. The hard work has seen Moukele being the first Beach Soccer Association & Competition being registered under PNGFA

PNGFA President and His Executive Management were invited to witness the inaugural Grand final and Presented Awards for the Participating Teams who took Part in the Beach Soccer Finals. The Programs and Trainings will continue to other Regions going forward.

 

 

Papua New Guinea for the first time will be sending a team to the OFC Beach Soccer Men’s Nations Cup.

The tournament, which sees four nations competing in a single group format, will take place in Honiara in the Solomon Islands, from October 22-26-2024

Each side will play one another once, with the top two playing in the Final and those finishing in 3rd and 4th contesting the Playoff for 3rd place.

Papua New Guinea Beach Soccer created its own History from October 22-26-2024 taking part in their First ever International match.

The Team also scored one of the fastest goals in international Beach Soccer history in an incredible start to the OFC Beach Soccer Men’s Nations Cup in Honiara.
